Vital organization has a new visual identity and website to better reach women experiencing abuse

“Experiencing abuse or violence is a personal and isolating reality and taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming. At Safety Network Durham, we help women access support using a straightforward approach that starts with just one confidential conversation with a caring community coordinator. Our new brand will allow us to better support women and help create a safer Durham, which has always been our goal,” says Alya Al-Joundi, Program Manager, Safety Network Durham.

In collaboration with their partners, Safety Network Durham is addressing abuse and violence against women to create a more hopeful future for more people in Durham region. Their team of caring and compassionate professionals offer expert system navigation to help women rebuild their confidence and their lives according to their needs.

“When we help those who are experiencing violence with support, choices, hope and healing, we make our entire community safer,” says Al-Joundi. “We all have a role to play in making our community safer, and it starts with making sure support is easy to access for those experiencing violence.
